Let's come together for a heartwarming afternoon filled with your favorite or most memorable dish.Observe Suicide Awareness Day by sharing the meal that you think makes life worth living.
The dish* you bring can be as simple as chicken noodle soup, you eat when you are not feeling well, or as complex as a fancy Hors d'oeuvre.
Come share the joy of food with the community and bring awareness to Suicide Awareness Day.
"I hope you are doing well. If you are not, no Feeling is Final. And there is a tomorrow, you are a fully realized person, and in no way defined by feelings of despair, dread, or hopelessness, you are so much more than that.
Nothing can take that away from you, just like how whatever's hanging over your head cannot take away the fact that there will be a tomorrow.
Even if you don't feel like it's possible now, there will come a day when those feelings will have gone away. It won't happen all at once, rather slowly over time, even if you don't realize it at first, so please, keep pushing forward."
-T. A.
If you are in a bad place, please see the resources below and join us in a good place. If you are feeling great, please come share that joy as well. All are enthusiastically welcome!
