About this Event

Our main sources on Ancient Stoic Philosophy comes from the works of "The Big Three": Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius. Join the Memphis Stoics as we discuss Stoicism's "Big Three." Who were they? Where and when did they live? What were their philosophical works? What can we learn from them?

A brief biographical overview will be given for each individual, and will be followed by a discussion of a sample of their work and ideas.
