Join Dr James Boyd and Tim Bryan in the SS Great Britain's Dining Saloon to hear about the historic SS Great Britain, its creator Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and his connection to Bristol.

This talk is part of FUTURES Up Late @ SS Great Britain. It will take place in the SS Great Britain's Dining Saloon from 7:10 pm - 7:45 pm.

Talks will start promptly, so please arrive outside the Dining Saloon 10 minutes before the talk is due to start, to allow time for ticket checks and to get people seated. If you have not arrived 5 minutes before the start time we may give away your seat to people on the waiting list.

Before and after the talk you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the FUTURES Up Late event, where you can meet researchers from the Universities of Bristol and Bath, hear about their cutting-edge research and get hands on with activities and games. The event runs from 6-9pm.
