About this Event
We are honored to collaborate with Eric Nelson. M.A. for this Outdoor Classroom Workshop. Eric Nelson, with his wife, Elyssa, founded the Child Educational Center, Caltech/JPL Community (CEC) in 1979 which they directed for 40 years. He also founded and was Director of the Outdoor Classroom Project, an initiative of the CEC, which delivered training in outdoor programs and environments from 2003 through 2020. He has presented extensively on a wide range of topics throughout his professional career. His book, “Cultivating Outdoor Classrooms” was published 2012 and published in Mandarin in China in 2017. He is co-producer of the Learning Naturally video series for Nature Explore.
