.Join us for a wintery stroll through Gunnersbury Park, exploring its landscapes, architecture, and layered histories in good company.

Meeting point: 11:00 am at Gunnersbury Park Museum entrance
(Museum opens at 10:00 am — feel free to arrive earlier or stay afterwards.)
About the walk:
Before we set off, we’ll introduce the park and wider area, including its royal connections and links to the Rothschild banking dynasty.
Our walk will take us:
• Past the two historic mansions
• Through Princess Amelia’s Bathhouse area
• By the Orangery and pond
• To the mock Gothic ruins and community garden
• Through the remains of the Japanese Garden with rare trees
• Past the old stables
We’ll then continue along the nature trail toward Potomac Lake and its ‘Gothic’ Tower, circle the lake past West Lodge, and continue toward the Old Farm Buildings, Sports Hub, and Putt in the Park. Depending on the group and weather, we may pause at the Clubhouse Café or continue to the Round Pond, new public sculpture, and Italian Garden. If the Park Café is open, we’ll finish with an optional chat and chill.

• Our walks are as much about sharing knowledge and making friends as exploring history and places.
• Photos and recordings may be taken — please let us know if you do not want to be included.
• You take part at your own risk. We take all reasonable precautions and assess the route before each walk.
• Wear suitable footwear and clothing; some surfaces are uneven.
• If you can’t attend, please cancel your ticket or notify us.
