If you're interested in the concept of karma, here's a chance to learn about it directly from an experienced Buddhist practitioner. Adelaide-born Venerable Thubten Dondrub has been ordained for more than 40 years in the tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and is well known for his clear and in-depth explanations of the Dharma. Over the years, Venerable Dondrub has taught in Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, U.S.A. and several other countries, and Buddha House is very lucky to have him as resident teacher, right here in Adelaide.This course, called All About Karma, is part of the Discovering Buddhism series. Venerable Dondrub will be teaching the course, which explores the law of cause and effect as it applies to our actions of body, speech and mind. Discover effective ways to accumulate positive karma, which Buddhists believe to be the cause of all happiness and success, and how to purify negative karma from mistaken actions done in the past.
The concept of karma is central to Buddhism, and this is the perfect opportunity to learn more.
