A guided walk with a visit to the historic house and the current exhibition on the Polish community in the UK, with optional café time.Join us for a relaxed and sociable exploration of Boston Manor — combining local history, nature, and shared discovery.
Tickets on Eventbrite at : https://shorturl.at/O15rr
We meet at the entrance to the house and then begin with a guided stroll through Boston Manor Park, taking in its landscape, stories, and the nearby canal, before heading into Boston Manor House for a short, guided visit.
Inside the house, we’ll explore its history, find out about some people who lived or visited it and visit the exhibition “My Country Is My Home: The Polish Community in the United Kingdom”, with a short introduction and time for questions. I’ll also bring printed resources for those who’d like to look more closely or continue the conversation.
We’ll finish with an optional lunch / coffee at the café inside the house, which I’ve tested and recommend. This final part is informal and flexible — you’re very welcome to stay and socialise, or to head off when you need.
This is a friendly, inclusive event — come on your own or with others.

A few more practical details
Our walks are as much about sharing what we know and making new connections as they are about learning about the places we visit, the topics we explore, and the people we meet along the way.
Photos may be taken during the walk, and short sections may occasionally be recorded for documentation and sharing. Please let us know if you prefer not to be included.
You take part in our events at your own risk. We carefully plan and assess routes in advance, but as this is a walking tour, please wear suitable footwear and clothing, and take extra care on sections with uneven surfaces.
If you’re no longer able to attend, please cancel your ticket or let us know, so we can offer the place to someone else.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us in advance, and please check your inbox before the walk for any final practical updates.
