About this Event
Join an informative guided walk around the gentle 100m Tulla-yugaipa dhagun Track. Meaning 'place of useful plants', this short track showcases plants used by local First Nations and colonial people. Signage along the track identifies featured plants and some surprising uses. Environment Centre staff will lead you around the trail to discover some native plants and other wetlands resources.
The experience will include tasting some foods made using native plant ingredients.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE BEFORE YOU REGISTER:
Cost: Free.
Age: Suitable for adults and children aged 8 years and over. Children must be supervised by an adult.
Bookings: All adults and children require bookings. Maximum of four children with each supervising adult. If circumstances change and you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking online via Eventbrite.
Requirements: Wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch to enjoy after the activity as there are no food outlets on site. Please arrive ten minutes prior to the starting time to check in at reception and secure your spot.
