Join us for an enlightening 90-minute workshop on Ayurveda, the "science of life." This ancient holistic medical system, originating in India over 5,000 years ago, offers profound insights into achieving health and wellness by balancing the mind, body, and spirit.Ayurveda's timeless wisdom comes from the Vedas, the oldest sacred texts of India. It teaches us to live in harmony with nature and use natural remedies, such as herbs and dietary adjustments, to maintain health and prevent disease. Central to Ayurveda are the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which govern our physiological and psychological functions.
This workshop will explore how Dosha principles can be applied in our modern lives, providing a holistic approach to health and well-being that remains relevant today. Participants will take an assessment to discover their Dosha and receive take home materials to help them cultivate a healthy lifestyle based on their Dosha type.
Instruction in mudras based on Dosha types will be provided and the workshop will culminate in a 30 minute group meditation.
