About this Event
Join us for a relaxed and informal event where guests will have the chance to discover more about Suffolk Wildlife Trust and all the great work the charity achieves across the county. In a beautiful relaxing setting, in the visitor centre at Lackford Lakes, staff and volunteers will be on hand to chat with guests, answering questions about our work, nature reserves, events, campaigns, volunteering and lots more.
This is a great opportunity to walk, explore and learn more about the wildlife of Lackford Lakes, with our volunteer wildlife guides stationed around the reserve to help you see some spectacular wildlife on the day, including possibly a sighting of one of our many Kingfishers! For anyone who would like more of a guided walk around some of the reserve, there will be a led walk at 10:30am
To help get the most from your visit borrow a pair of binoculars (or bring your own) and get a free wildlife activity sheet, for all the family to enjoy.
The café at Lackford sells hot and cold drinks, pre-packed sandwiches, hot and cold savouries, locally made ice cream and lollies and a variety of cakes and snacks including Vegetarian, Vegan and GF options.
