This quest invites you to uncover the secrets of the Contrade—17 ancient districts that are more than just neighborhoods. Born in the Middle Ages to support the city's defense, each Contrada grew into a proud, living community with its own symbols, rituals, and fierce identity.
As you explore Siena on foot, you’ll solve puzzles, follow clues, and discover hidden corners filled with stories. From fountains and flags to quiet churches and vibrant piazzas, this walking adventure is perfect for families and friends looking to connect while uncovering the soul of a city like no other.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE:
This is an outdoor self-guided exploration game that will take up to ⏲️2 hours and 🚶♂️3.500 steps (3.2 km) and will teach you more about Siena's history than all your school's lessons! You will visit 15 iconic locations, find clues, crack codes, solve puzzles and learn fun historical facts about the 17 Contrade ancient districts.
