Our first ever Discover Marine Science day is on 6th April 9.30 to 16.30 - 17.00. It is a day for 15 - 18 year olds. We will explore and discover in the fascinating world of marine science. This experience is designed to give you a first-hand insight into the life of a skipper, guide, and researcher at Marine Discovery Penzance. We will introduce the skills we use on a daily basis to safely take people out on the water in search of marine mammales, seabirds and seals. We will teach you how to identify different species, how to look for signs that explain what is happening in the environment around you and how to record data for research.
