About this Event
Join experts from Butterfly Conservation UK for the day and learn how to identify some of Exmoor's butterflies, in the beautiful surroundings of the National Trust's Heddon Valley, Exmoor. This area is one of the very few locations in the UK where you can see the spectacular High Brown Fritillary.
This is an introductory session, ideal for beginners and those with some knowledge of butterflies.
We will introduce you to the basic methods for identifying butterflies during the morning's indoor session, at the Hunters Inn, Heddon. After lunch (weather permitting) we will be outdoors spotting butterflies in the field.
