Get to know our campus through our sculpture collection on a lunchtime walk focusing on Central Park, Village Park and West Park.Starting outside the main entrance of EHB Finishing at STEMLab
New to the University? Been here a while but want to know more about campus? Or just fancy a break from the lecture theatre or office? We’ve got the ideal walk for you! Led by University Curator David Bell, we will make our way from the centre of campus down to West Park, taking in the student village along the way.
We’ll stop and take in some of our wonderful sculptures. This will include a key work by one of the most important British sculptors of the twentieth century, one of the UK’s tallest bronze sculptures, and pieces by current and former staff and students of the University. This event is a great way to find out more about the layout and history of the campus and University!
There are a limited number of places available for members of the public who would like to explore our campus and sculptures too.
Join us again on the following Wednesday (16 October) for a second walk, taking in works in Central and East Parks. Please book for this separately .
Accessibility
The tour will be step-free and stick to paved areas. If you have any specific access requirements then please contact [email protected] in advance of your visit and we will do our best to accommodate them.
