About this Event
Join us for Disco Soup Salford!
A fun, family-friendly community cook-up where we’ll turn surplus and “wonky” vegetables into a delicious shared meal — all to raise awareness about food waste and celebrate community spirit.
We’ll chop, cook, dance, and eat together — transforming food that might otherwise go to waste into something wonderful. Expect good vibes, music, tasty soup, and inspiring conversations about how small changes can make a big difference.
Everyone’s welcome — families, friends, and foodies alike!

Every year, a third of the world’s food is wasted — while many people go hungry.
Disco Soup is a global movement that brings people together to tackle food waste through music, creativity, and community cooking.
Let’s show how Salford can make a difference — one chopped carrot at a time!
This is a free community event supported by Angel Centre and Social adVentures Salford.
