Presented by the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management, this course is designed to teach and encourage community members to prepare for disasters, take preservation actions and perform, as appropriate, light search and rescue response to aid their family and other community members in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster or human-made incident. The class is 12 hours in length (8 AM – 5 PM on Saturday, and 8 AM – Noon on Sunday) and is open to those ages 14+ with parent/guardian consent.
Registration open, space is limited! This class is free to attend.
