Community Vigil to Honor Those Disappeared by ICE
🗓️ Sunday, Nov 2nd 4:00–5:00 PM
📍 Payne Park Pavillion
2010 Adams lane Sarasota, Fl 34237
This Sunday, community members, advocates, and faith leaders will gather for a vigil to honor those who have been disappeared by ICE. The event aims to shed light on the human toll of immigration enforcement and to stand in solidarity with families who continue to live in fear and uncertainty.
The vigil will offer a space for reflection, healing, and collective action, as participants uplift the names and stories of those taken from their communities. Organizers emphasize that no one should ever be forgotten and that every person deserves dignity, compassion, and justice.
“We gather to remember, to resist, and to remind one another that our immigrant neighbors are not alone. Through our unity, we affirm that every life matters and that our community stands together against injustice.”
Community members are encouraged to bring candles, signs, and their voices of solidarity. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome.
