About this Event
Find out about support at BCU

This in-person workshop will be a chance to find out what you need to know about support at university, whether you have a disability, health condition, mental health difficulty or Specific Learning Difficulty like dyslexia, dyspraxia or ADHD.

You will be able to ask questions about disability support including:

• Applying for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSAs) and how DSAs can help you

• Arranging your support at university

• Student finance

• Support for mental health difficulties

There is no obligation to attend, but we hope it will provide useful information about the support you will get at university and what you need to do to get ready. You will be able to bring your medical information with you and if you have not already begun your application for Disabled Students' Allowances, we can help you with this.

If you would like to come please note the following:

• If you need any reasonable adjustments to enable you to attend the workshop, please email [email protected] as soon as possible or tell us what you think you will need on the booking form.

• If you have any difficulty registering for the workshop, please email [email protected] and we will help.

We hope you can join us to meet the teams who will be supporting you!
