
About this Event
Undergraduate and graduate Special Education majors and minors across the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus are invited to join us to learn about the importance of disability inclusion, identify how to connect the individuals we support to resources and services, and discuss how we can provide the best services possible as professionals serving communities with disabilities.
During this session, hosted by PhD Student in Special Education and sociologist, Sethe Zachman, M.A., and Lifeworks Services, you will:
- Connect with other future special education professionals
- Explore existing disability resources and services in Minnesota
- Discuss how you can promote dialogue about systematic and individual barriers to disability inclusion in clinical and educational settings
This is a free event – food and refreshments will be provided!
