About this Event

🌱 Real stories, real impact. Discover the power of our lived-experience led training. 💫

Did you know 66% of Brits admit they feel uncomfortable around disabled people? Some even avoid interactions altogether. Shocking isn’t it! Imagine the misunderstandings, and the potential for genuine connection that slips by each day.

With 1 in 5 people in the UK living with a disability, it's time to change that dynamic. Let’s turn avoidable discomfort into meaningful engagement!

Format:

This interactive, full-day training is designed to empower you with confidence and practical skills. All our impactful courses are co-led by the ARC Scotland Associates with real lived-experience.

Audience:

EVERYONE with a customer-facing role (including retail, hospitality and healthcare). Not only will you walk away with a solid understanding of the Equality Act 2010, but you'll also leave feeling prepared and motivated to be a true ally in every interaction.

Learning Outcomes:

Lived-experience led training will always stick with you. In this authentic learning journey you’ll:

  • Challenge stereotypes and confront your assumptions.
  • Hear powerful, real-life stories that deepen understanding.
  • Understand intersectionality, multiple discrimination, and access requirements.
  • Transform your customer-facing skills to create inclusive experiences for all.

‘I think this is a really important course…it was much more engaging and inspiring than the dry, 'click-button', online training I've had on this subject in the past’ – course participant

Are you ready to feel more confident and capable in your customer-facing role? Join us and be part of the change! BOOK NOW.

Cost

£150 per person. Early bird offers available.
