All gifts are turned into the bartenders for a ticket. No kids and the gift drawing starts at 9:30 pm.
Dirty Santa, also known as White Elephant or Yankee Swap, is a popular gift exchange game played at Christmas. The game involves a group of people who bring wrapped gifts and participate in a fun, lighthearted exchange.
Here's how Dirty Santa typically works:
1. The participants bring a wrapped gift within a certain price range. (NO ALCOHOL OF ANY KIND FOR GIFTS) $15 to $25
2. Everyone sits at tables or the bar
3. A player is selected to go first. They choose a wrap a gift from the pool of gifts.
4. The following players have the option to either steal an already unwrapped gift from another player or choose an unopened gift from the pool.
5. If a player's gift is stolen, they then have the option to either steal another player's gift or choose a new gift from the pool.
6. The game continues, with each subsequent player either stealing a gift or selecting a new one until all the gifts are unwrapped.
*Any gift can be stolen as many times as possible*
The fun & sometimes "dirty" element comes from players strategically choosing which gifts to steal or attempting to conceal desirable gifts. Laughter & friendly competition are common as people compete for the most coveted items.
The main objective is to have a good time and enjoy the playful nature of the game!
