Sunbird Records presents Dirty Laces plus very special guests HoldenNorth Manchesters Dirty Laces attack with their intensity and drive for musical greatness.Their sound has constantly evolved and matured in their transition from adolecence to manhood. The band encapsulate the liberation of garage rock and proto-punk but with a refined focus on dynamic changes and instrumental soundscapes found in early progressive rock. Let’s say they are the bastard child of Pink Floyd and The Stooges. The band continually sell out venues in their home town and beyond with their relentless touring and solid-work ethic. This has seen them creep up the bill at major festivals playing to thousands of unfamiliar faces and rising to the challenge every time.Their records have caught the eye of DJ’s nationally regardless of their underground sound. They have become regulars on BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio and ‘XS’ Manchester.

Sharing the same face, the same upbringing, the same dream, the Holden twins have played music together since they were just six years old, having toured the world working with the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Tom Misch, Rachel Chinouriri, Hot Milk and more.
The project 'Holden.' was born in 2024, after two gruelling years touring as hired guns in the aftermath of a worldwide pandemic saw the twins decide to step into the spotlight themselves.
Funding their releases through time spent as guinea pigs for vaccine trials, Holden. combine pop hooks and massive choruses with emotionally raw lyricism, detailing the human experience of trying to be something even close to normal in a world where we are always overwhelmed, and never enough for the world's expectations.
Producing the entirety of their singles themselves out of the backs of tour buses, hotel rooms, kitchen tables and even an attic, Holden. cite influences including Portugal. The Man, FINNEAS, Joywave, Paramore, Glass Animals and The Police.
"Having grown up on jazz, cut our teeth in the punk rock scene, fallen in love with hip-hop and been totally immersed in the new wave of Dark Pop, we wanted to blend all the things we love and express every single emotion we were told we weren't supposed to feel." - Something Holden. delivers on and more.
Holden. are steadily releasing a stream of singles throughout 2024 and 2025, with songs ranging from the delightfully brash to utterly heartbreaking, all whilst delivering pop hooks, a uniquely strident vocal delivery and ear-candy filled production chops.
