Come on down to read your work, tell your jokes, bear your soul, all while accompanied by the coolest backing band since the invention of Ray-Bans. Open mic list is up at 8pm, show to kick off ~9 ; slots for first and second half, alongside a waiting list. Don't see room on the list? Talk to Nark and they'll see what they can do. Slots are 1-2 poems, 1 song, or approximately 6 minutes. Let the houseband know if you need their support ✨️
About Our Feature:
Danny Riordan is an agent of chaos that has identified as more genders than he ever knew existed. A former superyacht deckhand-turned creative writing student-turned chemistry tutor-turned comedian-turned ultramarathon runner-turned poet, he now spends his days as a law student and his nights laying in bed with the crushing existential dread of having done too much and never enough. He deals with this feeling by writing silly poetry and performing for you, the good people of New England, in as few clothes as he can get away with. He says it's a metaphor, but he's probably just a lil' freak.
In his free time he likes to make scrapbooks.
