Come on down to read your work, tell your jokes, bear your soul, all while accompanied by the coolest backing band since the invention of Ray-Bans. Open mic list is up at 8pm, show to kick off ~9 ; slots for first and second half, alongside a waiting list. Don't see room on the list? Talk to Nark and they'll see what they can do. Slots are 1-2 poems, 1 song, or approximately 6 minutes. Let the houseband know if you need their support ✨️
Charlie is a poet & artist of many things, currently residing in Braintree, Ma. Pre-k by day, queen of the stage by night, whether it be performing with her band CJ Honey, baring her soul at an open mic, or showing off at karaoke. Charlie lives by one simple phrase: Nothing to prove, nothing to lose. She writes & performs from a place of deep honesty & passion, believing if even just one person feels touched by her words, it’s all worth it.
