DDJ Family-Friendly & Dog Friendly 5K or One Mile Fun RunJoin us for a fun-filled day at the beautiful Wilderness Center for your choice of a timed 5K or a One Mile Fun Run. This special event to support our furry friends of Wayne County, is designed for families, runners, and dog lovers alike.
We will also have vendors onsite, along with two food trucks.
5K Run: Challenge yourself with a scenic 5K run. Perfect for both seasoned runners and those looking to enjoy a healthy morning. The 5K will also include obstacles for your furry friend.
One Mile Fun Run: Ideal for families and children. This shorter course is all about having fun while supporting a great cause.
Dog-Friendly: Bring your four-legged friend along. We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds to participate in the fun. Please remember to keep your pup leashed!
Event Proceeds: All proceeds from the event will go directly to help the Wayne County Dog Shelter and Shelter pups.
Early registration discount is available now through September 30, 2024, and you must register by October 13, 2024 to receive a t-shirt with registration.
