The Trip is a DJ and production project by Max van Dijk and Oliver Hiam, who are the founders ofthe long-established party and label Tessellate. After a decade of hosting events and DJing atCorsica Studios, the duo began releasing music under the name “The Trip” in 2020.
Their sound is shaped by experiences at Tessellate, where they've had the privilege of witnessingsome of their favorite DJs perform. Unforgettable moments on the dancefloor have inspired theirmusic, and now they’re enjoying support from many of the artists they’ve booked over the years.Sonically, they draw on UKG, progressive, tech house, and house elements from the '90s onward,weaving these influences into a distinctive, sample-heavy style.Expect: Venue Transformation, Giant Inflatables, Student Priced Drinks.An experience like no other...
