Direct Work & Explanations for Children
About this Event
This one-day workshop will consider 2 essential elements in our work with children, young people, and their families.
Gaining the child / young persons' 'voice' and lived experience and providing meaningful explanations are central to effective assessment and planning.
This session will consider:
- The methods, tools and techniques set within the context of the strength based / relationship-based practice principles.
- How we gain understanding of the child’s views and lived experiences and integrate this into assessment and planning.
