About this Event
This growing season, we will offer a monthly series of workshops at our South Chicago Farm to support the development of local aspiring growers. A ticket for the workshop day is $100; we. are offering a reduced cost ticket of $25 in exchange for 3 workshare hours at our South Chicago farm. Workshare hours need to be completed a week in advance of the workshop date in order for the reduced cost to be honored. If they are not completed, the ticket holder will be charged the additional $75 upon arrival to the workshop.
Direct Seeding & Transplanting: Let’s get to planting! We will introduce you to sourcing materials, broadcasting tips and tricks, plant spacing, transplanting techniques, watering and maintenance. Transplants will be available for purchase if you would like to take some farm babies home!
