Six-time Grammy Award-winning music legend, Dionne Warwick, has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has earned more than 75 charted hit songs. Warwick rose to prominence in the 1960s as one of the most successful female vocalists of the time. She began her career as a background vocalist for various artists, including Sam Cooke and The Drifters before finding solo fame with her hit “Don’t Make Me Over.”Warwick earned her first Grammy for “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” and shortly after became the first African-American solo female artist of her generation to win the prestigious award for Best Contemporary Female Vocalist Performance.
