This free series is designed to foster community and civil dialogue on various important topics in our community.We are pleased to welcome Kate Flavell, Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University, as our speaker! She will discuss how social justice issues are impacted by our faith and the need for inclusion and respect in all areas.

Kate Flavell is an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University in the College of Education, where she teaches a course on social justice for educators. She has served as a full-time faculty member for GCU, worked as a high school math teacher in Hemet, California, and began her career as a software engineer at Honeywell Industrial Controls Division. She is also the Director of the California Christian Ashrams, a retreat movement Dr. E. Stanley Jones started in India in the 1930s.
