About this Event
Ever wanted to dine with Darcy? Discover picnic fare and nuncheon bites, teatime sweets, and more! We will be cooking up a meal inspired by Jane Austen’s writing and her times, including the following:
- Fresh Pea Soup
- Winter Vegetable Pie
- Rout Cakes
This program is intended for adults. Participants are welcome to attend in costume (keeping in mind we will be cooking)!
The room capacity is limited. All individuals planning to be inside the kitchen during the program must be registered as a participant. This includes any adult accompanying a child. Please contact the VMC service desk if you have questions.
We are a nut-aware space and do not use nuts in our programming, but we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility. Please alert us of any allergies when registering on Eventbrite. Our kitchen programs are held in the VSES Teaching Kitchen, located on the third floor.
