When I Get The Lowers
When I Get the Lowers (WIGTL) harkens back to the late 80s and early 90s "Seattle Sound" - the huge guitars and odd time signatures of Soundgarden, the soaring vocal harmonies of Alice in Chains, and the emphasis on melody and song structure of Nirvana have played a huge role in influencing the WIGTL sound. But the four members cite influences far beyond the grunge era, including bands like Nine Inch Nails, As I Lay Dying, Meshuggah, A Perfect Circle, and Mastodon - not to mention "legacy" acts like Queen and the Beatles, among dozens of others.
