The Dignity in Labor Celebration is a political statement, a protest, and a promise. This is a day where we refuse to be silent, refuse to be complacent, and refuse to be grateful for the chains that bind us.We gather not just to commemorate labor, but to reclaim it, to recognize that Labor IS Power.
This celebration is:
• A protest — against John Deere and every company that treats workers as disposable, that rips away livelihoods and calls it “efficiency.” We’ll take our fight directly to the gates of the John Deere Seeding Group and demand justice for every worker laid off and cast aside.
• A festival — rooted in joy, music, food, and solidarity. We celebrate the resilience of our people, the beauty of working-class life, and the cultural power that labor brings to this world.
• A movement rally — where voices will rise, ideas will be shared, and a community will be reborn in resistance. Together, we’ll build something stronger than the fear and isolation they want us to feel — we’ll build a network, a movement, a family of fighters.
Because they want us to feel apathetic, to feel lucky just to survive, to be too tired to organize. But we say no.
We say:
You deserve dignity. You deserve power. You deserve more than scraps.
And together, we’ll remind this city, this company, and this country: When we stand together, they can’t ignore us. When we organize, they can’t defeat us. And when we fight, we win
