About this Event
Digital Twins are virtual models of an object, a system, or a process, connected to a real-world counterpart by a 2-way flow of right-time data. They help test decisions before they are made and understand how different actions might affect the real world. The possibilities for digital twinning are huge, and that there is a wealth of expertise across the institution. Recognising this, SRI have invited a series of speakers from across all four Colleges to discuss their research in this area, and also to show what digital twinning can do for colleagues in a broader sense, with opportunities to network widely and discuss how we see digital twinning evolving in the future. We want to be in the best possible position to react to any funding opportunities as they arise.
