<h4>Abstract</h4>This lecture will focus on what is meant by digital transformation. It will explore its nature and impact, including its role in reshaping organisations and changing human behaviours, the creation of new ecosystems, industry disruption, and next-generation solutions across diverse application domains.
Professor Hameed will also present a view of the hyperconnected future, the fourth industrial revolution, and implications of digital transformation for society in the digital future.
Professor Hameed has 30 years of experience working in academia and business. He focuses on the hyperconnected digital future and digital innovation and transformation.
He has worked on the concept development and delivery of technology projects focusing on technology for business, the creation of application development and testing facilities for mobile systems, large-scale regional sub-cluster programmes in mobile and wireless technologies, and high-impact cross-sector projects that build and leverage digital capability.
Professor Khawar, a Visiting Professor of Digital Transformation at CEBE, Fellow of the British Computer Society, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, helps organisations to develop strategies and frameworks for digital transformation.
