Digital Futures Workshop for Young People
Give your child the skills they need to stay safe, confident, and curious online.
This interactive digital workshop is designed for young people to build essential digital literacy skills in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
Running during the half-term break, it’s a great opportunity for teens to keep learning while exploring the digital world they’re already part of every day.
The programme helps young people understand how the online world works — from staying safe and spotting misinformation, to thinking about future careers in digital and tech.
The workshop includes:
- A Quickline Animation – introducing who we are in a fun and accessible way
- An engaging assembly – setting the scene for digital literacy and online responsibility
- Six ready-to-go interactive lessons including:
1. Introduction to Digital Skills
2. Cyberbullying & Phishing
3. Fake News & AI
4. Sharing Information Online
5. The Importance of Screen Time
6. Digital Jobs of the Future
Through discussion, activities, and real-life examples, young people will learn how to:
- Stay safe and respectful online
- Think critically about what they see and share
- Understand the impact of screen time on wellbeing
- Explore exciting future pathways in digital careers

Time:- 9am - 3pm (parents can pick up till 4pm)

This workshop supports safe online behaviour, critical thinking, and confidence in using technology — all while keeping children engaged and learning during half term in a structured, supervised environment.
