In this 1.5-hour digital safety and security training, you'll learn strategies to protect your devices, data, and communications, no matter where you are. From securing your phone during transit to managing your privacy when interacting with authorities, this session will cover real-world tips and tools to help you stay secure.
We’ll learn personal threat modeling, a proactive approach that helps individuals identify potential risks and develop strategies
to protect themselves.
We’ll dive into high-tech threats, discuss how to plan for safety in the digital age, and role-play scenarios like border crossings and encounters with law enforcement. Perfect for activists, organizers, and anyone in a vulnerable or targeted community, this class ensures you have the skills to safeguard your digital life while on the go.
A free vegan meal will be provided. Gas cards available to those in need.
