About this Event
A brand new concert series in Toronto, Digital North supports new Canadian electroacoustic music from across the country by featuring both emerging Canadian composers as well as bringing new attention to historic and significant Canadian electroacoustic works.
The second concert in this new series will feature an immersive Quad (four) speaker surround sound setup, presenting:
Two winning compositions from the Canadian Electroacoustic Community’s prestigious 2025 Jeu de temps / Times Play electroacoustic competition
Two original compositions from emerging and diverse composers based in communities across the country
One hot-off-the-press album recording from Toronto musical improv series 'Exit Points'
One important, historical work by pioneering Argentine/Canadian composer Alcides Lanza, from the CMC’s musical archive.
