Learn to be a Digital MentorIn this session, you will learn what it means to be a Digital Mentor. The session will help you to support people through their first steps to using digital devices, the internet, and improve their digital skills. You will learn about the language and techniques needed to support someone, and the possible barriers that people may experience. The session will also help you to develop the skills and confidence you need to support people on a one-to-one basis, as well as helping small groups.
When: Tuesday 18 June 2024
Parking: Available in the Hughes Shops or on Whittle St (behind the Community Centre).
What to bring: No need to bring anything with you. However, a notebook is handy and we will be using our phones in the session to demonstrate the exercises.
