About this Event
Digital Media Investigation Awareness raising Input – For all investigators and all aspiring DMI’s
Investigators – This session is being put on by colleagues with expertise from the Central DMI team and are aimed at all investigators and investigative supervisors where an up to date working knowledge of Digital Media is essential!
For aspiring DMI’s - If you’re reading this there is a chance that you could be the investigator we’re looking for!
The Birmingham LPA aspires to set up its own Digital Media Investigation (DMI) Team to support the most challenging and high-profile investigations and we’re looking for the next generation of DMI’s to apply.
Why apply for the DMI role?
• You get to work on some of the most interesting and high-profile cases on the LPA.
• It is a flexible role in terms of both location and hours worked.
• You will develop an invaluable skillset that will be attractive to Investigation departments across the force.
But I have limited experience of Digital Media Investigation and don’t feel confident!
Fear not, no previous experience is required, if you’re a highly motivated PC/DC with an investigative mindset and you enjoy solving crime, this might just be the role for you.
Those that successfully apply will receive extensive training and support to ensure you feel confident in the role before you lead on Digital Media Investigations independently. You will also become part of a network of DMI’s and have instant access to a peer support network.
Pop along to the awareness session, watch online or contact DI 6208 JUSS to find out more.
