These courses will be delivered by 21k Digital Media and Student Light as part of the Creative Academy Hub at Capital City College Group - a programme supported by Westminster Kingway College and the Mayor of London.

Digital Marketing Course
25th - 29th July 2022
In this Digital Marketing Course, you'll learn how to create a marketing strategy for any business, project or personal venture. You'll do this by understanding how to generate ideas for goal-driven content, whether that be income generation, event promotion, follower growth or product sales etc.
You'll learn how to create engaging text, design, videos, audio and emails, that create a strong brand identity, build trust and gets your target audience's attention. Social media is a fast-paced, forever-changing environment, so we'll teach you all the tips, tricks and hacks, to help you keep up with the latest trends, use the right hashtags and mass produce & repurpose content so you're always ready to post.
Website Building Course
1st - 5th August 2022
Go from zero website building knowledge to freelance website developer in just 1 week. This course will give you all the knowledge and tools you need to be able to create websites fast, by using a Content Management System (CMS), like Wix, WordPress or Squarespace. While we won't teach you all of these CMSes, we'll teach you the fundamental principles of what they do and how they work, so if you learn one, you can very quickly pick up another.
You'll also learn about HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which is the code that CMSes produce for browsers to be able to display content. In fact, by the end of this course, you'll be able to build a whole webpage using nothing but code.
We'll also teach you how to keep clients happy, by building websites in a way that allows them to see results quickly (Agile Development), by making sure their website ranks high on Google (Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)), and by making sure their website is accessible to their users.

The Mayor of London’s Academies Programme supports Londoners in getting into careers and the capital’s long-term economic growth. The Mayor’s Academies Programme helps Londoners to gain the skills they need to enter good work in the digital, green, health, hospitality and creative industries.
Capital City College Group has secured £1.5 million to run four academy Hubs to support the construction, hospitality, digital and creative sectors.
