The conference is called the International Conference on Digital Archiving in the Arab World (DA|AW). It is organized by the CEDEJ (Centre d'études et de documentation économiques juridiques et sociales), in collaboration with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the UAE National Archives, and the University of Sorbonne Abu Dhabi. The conference will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 29th to 31st, 2024.
Our goal is to showcase the richness of Arab content and highlight the significance of digital archiving. We believe that in a rapidly digitizing world, it is crucial to preserve our region's identity, knowledge, and heritage by leveraging the power of digital technology. By creating a separate page for our conference, we aim to engage with a broader audience and promote discussions about archiving challenges in the Arab world.
