About this Event
Africa is standing at a turning point. Every day, new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), data platforms, smart devices, and digital tools are changing how the world works. From farming to education, healthcare to governance, tech is touching everything. But here’s the big question: Will Africa lead this digital change, or just follow what others create?
“Sovereign Intelligence” is not just a fancy phrase; it’s about Africa taking control of its digital future. It means building our own systems, setting our own rules, and making sure technology works for us, not just used on us.
The 13th Edition of the Digital Africa Conference and Exhibition (DACE), themed ‘Sovereign Intelligence,’ is convened to shift the current trajectory. It offers a high-level, multi-sectoral platform for asserting Africa’s strategic agency within the global AI governance landscape. The conference seeks to catalyze African-led ethical models, policy frameworks, and cross-continental collaboration for the responsible development and use of AI.
As Africa finds its place in the fast-changing world of Artificial Intelligence, this year’s Digital Africa Conference will explore how we can use AI to solve our own problems, not just follow the world, but lead with our voice.
From farming and healthcare to money matters, schools, and even government, AI has the power to change how we live and work. This two-day event will open up honest conversations, practical sessions, and real stories on how AI can work for Africa, the African way.
You will hear from experts, join engaging panel discussions, and take part in workshops that show how AI can help us build a better, smarter future with Africa in the driver’s seat.
