The Digital Accelerator is a free digital skills diploma, worth £2600 delivered by Creative Process.
It will equip you with an essential tool kit of digital and creative skills that employers demand, helping you to create an impressive portfolio of work that will make you the stand-out applicant for any hiring manager, help you to develop your freelance skills or give your start up a rocket powered digital boost.
Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis subject to eligibility - we can prioritise your place on the course if you are in receipt of any state benefits or are on a low wage

The Digital Accelerator at a glance:
• A 6 week part-time course, 10:00am to 17:00pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from November 27th – January 16th (please note there will be a two week break over the new year) (Check out our other dates if this month is already fully booked)
• Completed in person at our Mac Training Centre in central Brighton
• Achieve a nationally recognised Digital Skills Diploma valued at £2,600 but free to the participant
• You will be required to attend a two-hour induction session on Thursday 21st November. This is essential to get you set up and ready to start.
Course content at a glance:
• Fine tune your networking, pitching and presentation skills
• Build your own website, online portfolio and stand out C.V.
• Practice using design and marketing software used by professionals: Wix, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Understand what local opportunities are available in what sectors
• Secure interviews for exciting new jobs with great employers
Eligibility and how we like to work:
The Digital Accelerator is an intensive, 6 week programme. Participant feedback is excellent but it is designed to challenge and stretch. To be accepted onto the programme:
• Aged 19 or above as of 31st July 2024
• Able to commit to a 6 week course
• Resident in the EU for the last 3 years (to qualify for the funding)
• Priority confirmation of a place on the course if you are in receipt of any state benefits or are on a wage of less than £25,000 per year (payslip or benefit claim evidence required)
• Motivated and ready to secure a job and/or develop new digital and commercial skills
• Basic to good level of IT and digital literacy and be mac or PC proficient
• Minimum C1 level of English language proficiency
• Able to work in a team, on a collaborative basis, under pressure and to deadlines
• Good people skills and be mindful and respectful of how others learn (as well as an awareness that this may be different to how you learn)
• Respectful of people from different backgrounds, race, religion or gender orientation
• Prepared to take part in a way which contributes to the positive experience and enjoyment of the rest of the group
• Tell us about any additional learning needs you may have so we can assess if the accelerator is suitable for you

PLEASE NOTE:
• Registration for this event is registration of your interest in doing the course. Your place is not confirmed until we have completed a screening phone call and email confirmation. This will happen shortly after you register.
• If you have a cough or any flu or cold like symptoms you should stay at home. In line with Government health and safety guidance we reserve the right to postpone your training and ask you to leave at any point should we deem this to be necessary.
