Every Thursday in September we'll be breaking down the fundamentals of blues dancing for those that want a deeper understanding and connection to the elements that define blues expression. The hope is that by the end of the series your blues dancing will be more grounded, natural, and more YOU!
We're at a new venue for Thursdays!! Join us at the Virginia Beach Dance Club, located in Suite B right next door to DanceSportVA. Please use the Club entrance just down the sidewalk from the DanceSportVA entrance (look for the signs!)

**Monday Night Blues is still at the Fred Heutte Gardens!!**
These Thursdays are specifically designed to emphasize skill development over socializing, so the entire 2 hours will be dedicated to practice, feedback, or guidance. The lessons will begin at 7:30pm, then whatever time is left over once instruction is finished can be used for open and guided practice: music will be played for more repetition/practice while instructors will be available for follow-ups/further questions.

As you know, Tidewater Blues has always striven to be as accessible as possible allowing for community and blues dance to flourish without financial barriers. In keeping with these values, we have created a sliding scale admission: $10-20 per person, per lesson. If you are in a position to pay the higher rate, you will be directly contributing to the sustainability and development of Blues dancing in Norfolk, Hampton Roads, and beyond! If you can not, know that you are welcome and wanted - pay what you can, or contact our organizers to be set up with another avenue of community contribution.
