About this Event
Aim:
1. To familiarise Secondary school and preservice teachers from across the SE QLD region as well as staff from Sunshine Coast Libraries and the Queensland Museum with technologies and skills that may be used in the Digital Technologies course, and/or access to skilled and knowledgable facilitators to assist in planning.
2. To upskill non-DIG trained teachers to deliver Grade 7-8 DIG, as needed.
A range of workshops will be run throughout the day and delivered by practising Sunshine Coast teachers from local Secondary schools, unless otherwise indicated. The workshops run over 3 sessions of 90 mins each.
NOTE: Most workshops are offered on more than one occasion to assist with flexibility of selections.
Tickets are strictly limited to keep workshop sizes small.
Session times are from 9.00am-2.30pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
These professional development activities are funded via a grant provided by Google.
