Terrariums create a great way to grow plants that like more humidity than Arizona’s arid environment, and once set up, they are incredibly self-sufficient and excellent for a no-fuss indoor display of plants. Learn about how to build one right, then make one in class. Materials and plants provided. There will be lots of photos and examples for inspiration.You will learn how to:

• What types of containers work best for terrariums
• How to prepare your terrarium for success
• Types of plants that work best (and don’t work) for terrariums.
• Maintaining a terrarium with good conditions for light and water with tips to reduce algae and pests.
• Step by step help while you make your own in class.
