Oak is a major component in wine making. Some wines wouldn't even be themselves without a healthy dose of oak. Come taste and learn why.Join this immersive wine tasting class that delves into the fascinating world of oak and its essential role in winemaking. In this class, you'll explore how winemakers use oak barrels to shape the flavor, aroma, and texture of wine.
We will taste and learn the types of oak used in the winemaking process, focusing on the characteristics of American, French, and other varieties of oak.
