This October we are collabing with our friends at Hull Independent Cinema to screen DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS (1919), which sees two male musicians fall in love leading to a scandal that makes the affair take a tragic turn.

We wanted to show a feature film that encompasses the essence of UNTHINKABLE, and HIC programmer Sam suggested this one - it's unthinkable for the time, to portray a queer relationship like this on the big screen, and is important even now considering the political climate surrounding queer identities all over the world.

Film is around 50mins and will be screened in our groundfloor pop-up cinema space in Humber Street Gallery.
