This presentation focuses on the issue of privacy for your personal information. It describes the value of this information for criminals and the ways in which criminals can use this personal information to commit identity fraud (and various other crimes). It explains the importance of legislation to ensure privacy, notably GDPR. It also notes how easy it is for politicians to bypass this legislation, especially when applied to travellers.
Geof Haigh has spent over 40 years working in telecoms & IT, all of it in industry, and most of it working on fixed and mobile communications. Geof lives in Goring.
